Sketching in the Garden

This week I had a wonderful experience while sketching in the garden.

Here are my first 10 30-second sketches. I know they are not so good but I tried to show their details in 30 seconds for each one.

For next part, I was a little panic while drawing my own left hand without looking at the paper. I tried to move my eyes and my hand in sync so that as my eyes moved down one finger and up the next, my pencil also did the same movement on the paper.

For my final sketch, I used all the 10 30-second sketches and the scene in front of me. It took me around 5 minutes to finish the final sketch.

Overall, I think this is a great activity since it requires the ability of focusing as well as the ability of observation. I think I did pretty good on synchronizing my eyes and my hand while drawing without looking at the paper.
